What is CCEForge?
CCEForge is document assembly for customer-facing teams and anyone who answers with an email or a document. The team keeps its best answers as snippets in a shared library, a curator certifies each one under their own name with an expiry date, and a plan, a follow-up or a scoping document is those snippets in order, with the customer's details filled in once. The same library feeds the prompter on a demo and Live Answers on a call.

What is the difference between a snippet, a template and a document?
A snippet is one reusable piece of text, such as an answer about data residency. A template is a saved set of snippets in an order, such as a scoping document outline. A document is what you assemble and export for one customer. Snippets live in libraries, grouped in collections.

Is this a snippet tool with a copy button?
No. You can copy a single snippet for a quick reply, or place snippets into a document where each row keeps its heading level, fields, and certification seal. The whole document exports as one formatted file or email. Existing documents stay pinned to the snippet revision they were built with until you refresh them.

How does content get into the library?
Five ways. Write snippets in the in-app editor as rich text or Markdown. Upload Markdown, plain text, or code files with Import files… under the library tree. Import Google Docs or sync a Drive folder. Import files from a GitHub repository at a branch or tag. Or open a local folder on your computer in Chrome or Edge, which CCEForge reads and never writes to.

What does certified mean?
A curator has read the snippet and marked it certified under their own name, with an expiry date set by the library's review schedule. The seal travels with the snippet into every document, and the export sheet names any snippet in a document whose certification has lapsed. A library can require that the certifier is not the author.

Where can a document go?
Six ways out: copy to the clipboard as rich text and plain text for email and chat, or export to Google Docs, PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or HTML. Browser downloads (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, and HTML) and clipboard copy work in every workspace state, while Google Docs export requires an active workspace membership.

How do customer details get filled in?
Write a field such as {{customer}} in any snippet. Fill it once in the Fields sheet and every instance in the document takes the value. A deal profile saves a set of values so the next document for the same customer starts filled.

What is the prompter?
A window that shows the right snippet while you demo. Map a snippet to an element on a page, or to the page itself; when the pointer reaches that element, or the page opens, the snippet comes up. Voice-follow scrolls the text as you read it aloud, and the prompter can pop out into its own window beside the call.

Do we need a browser extension?
For the prompter and mappings, yes: the CCEForge browser extension, for Chrome. It tells the prompter what is on screen in the product you are demoing. It holds no credential, and all traffic to the server stays in the app tab. Everything else in CCEForge, including Live Answers, needs no extension.

What is Live Answers?
On a call, CCEForge transcribes the conversation on your computer, notices the questions, and shows the certified snippet that answers each one, with its seal, its revision and a score with the reason for it. Swear words are dropped from the transcript before detection unless you turn that off for your browser on the Live Answers page, and nothing about them is flagged or stored. Nothing is recorded and no audio is stored. The questions asked and the answers shown are kept for the period the workspace sets, 30 days by default.

Where does our data go?
Your workspace content lives in a Postgres database isolated by row-level security. Audio for voice-follow and Live Answers is processed on your computer and never leaves it. Live Answers sends short pieces of transcript text to Anthropic to find matching answers. We never use your content to train models. The full list of subprocessors is on the subprocessors page.

What does CCEForge ask Google for?
Sign-in, and the drive.file scope only, which limits access to the Google Docs and folders you pick in the Google picker. Disconnecting Google revokes that access; what you already imported stays in your library until you delete it.

How do people sign in?
With a six-digit code sent to their email, or with Google sign-in. There are no passwords. A member joins by invitation from an admin, with a role: assemblers build and export documents, curators also maintain and certify the library, and admin is a permission on top for members and settings.

What happens to our content if we stop paying, or hit a limit?
Nothing is taken away. A workspace keeps every snippet, document and export in every state: at a usage ceiling, with a suspended member, after a lapsed subscription. Export is never gated. Workspaces that existed before billing arrived keep everything they had, free, for as long as they exist.

How is CCEForge priced?
A platform fee for the workspace, plus the people who actually use it. Each tier includes a number of active users, meaning members who assembled or exported in the period, and a monthly allowance of Live Answers minutes. Free includes three members and never bills. The tiers are on the home page, and Enterprise is by conversation.
Which browsers does it support?
The workspace runs in any current browser. The prompter's extension, voice-follow and Live Answers transcription use Chrome. The popped-out prompter window and the local-folder library work in Chrome and Edge.
Can we delete our data?
Yes. Snippets, documents and libraries can be archived and restored by the workspace; deleting a workspace removes its content from production systems within 30 days, with backups aging out after that. CCEForge itself never removes content on its own: no limit, state or lapse prunes a library.

How do we get help?
Write to hello@cceforge.com. CCEForge is sold by conversation for now, and the same address reaches the people who build it.
Can Live Answers use our online documentation?
Yes. An admin adds trusted documentation sites under Settings → Live Answers. When your library has no solid match for a question on a call, Live Answers checks those sites and quotes the matching passage in the page's own words, with a link and how long ago it was read. A docs answer is reused for the same question for 6 hours by default (configurable from 0 to 24 hours, where 0 reads the page every time). Only the quoted passage and its link are kept, never a copy of the page.
